Bran Muffins
Bran Muffins is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. boiling water, 2 c. all-bran, 1 c. chopped dates, 1 c. chopped nuts and 3 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Pour 2 cups of boiling water over 2 cups all-bran, dates and nuts and let cool for 10 minutes.
Cream together the sugar, shortening, eggs and all-bran mixture.
Add buttermilk, flour, soda, salt and 4 cups all-bran.
Mix well.
Refrigerate.
Bake at 375Β° for 20 minutes.
Use as needed.
Keeps in refrigerator for 4 to 6 weeks.
