Chicken Noodle Casserole
Chicken Noodle Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles, 1 tbsp. butter, 1/2 onion, chopped, 2 tbsp. chopped green pepper and 1 can cream of mushroom soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Cook noodles in boiling water until tender.
Melt butter in saucepan.
Add onion and saute.
Add green pepper and soup, mixing well.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Grease a 2-quart casserole dish. Place half the noodles in bottom of dish, then cover with half of chicken.
Season with salt and pepper, then add half of mushroom soup mixture and half the grated cheese.
Repeat layers, using remaining ingredients.
Bake for 45 minutes.
Remove from oven and serve.
