Cole Slaw
Cole Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large head cabbage, 1 bell pepper, 1 small can pimentos, 2 medium onions and 1 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Grate the cabbage.
Make layers of cabbage, onion rings, bell pepper rings and pimentos.
Over the whole thing, sprinkle 1 cup sugar.
Do not stir.
Heat together vinegar, salad oil, salt, celery seed and 2 tablespoons sugar.
Pour over cabbage mixture; refrigerate for 12 hours, if possible.
This seems to improve with several hours refrigeration.
