Corn Dogs
Corn Dogs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. hot dogs, vegetable oil, 1 c. self-rising flour, 2 tbsp. corn meal and 3 tbsp. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Dry hot dog; heat oil.
Mix flour and corn meal.
Cut in shortening.
Add milk and egg.
Dip hot dogs in batter; let excess batter drip off.
Fry in hot oil, turning, until all sides are browned.
Drain on paper towels.
Place wooden skewers in end of each.
