Cranberry Scones
Cranberry Scones is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour, 1/2 c. unbleached flour, 1/4 c. sugar, 2 tsp. baking powder and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Combine flours, sugar, baking powder, salt and spices.
Add butter, cut in with pastry blender until coarsely mixed.
Make a well.
Add cream, milk and lemon zest.
Add cranberries; stir until dough coheres.
Shape into ball.
Place in center of greased baking sheet.
Pat into a 9-inch disk.
Score deeply into 8 wedges.
Brush top with 1 tablespoon of cream and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 425Β° for 25 minutes.
Cut apart at score marks and serve hot.
