Fresh Strawberry Ice Cream
Fresh Strawberry Ice Cream is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. sugar, dash of salt, 1 1/2 c. milk, 3 tbsp. flour and few drops red food coloring, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Combine 1 cup sugar, salt and flour in medium saucepan; add milk gradually.
Cook over medium heat, stirring until mixture thickens and bubbles.
Remove from heat.
Stir half the mixture slowly into beaten eggs in bowl; stir back into remaining mixture in saucepan.
Cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute.
Remove from heat; pour into a large bowl and cool.
Stir in cream; chill.
