Line bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan or Pyrex dish with all but 1 cup of crushed cookies combined with melted butter.
Slice softened ice cream and smooth over cookie crust.
Top with whipped topping. Swirl chocolate syrup on top, then sprinkle with reserved cup of cookie crumbs.
