Pancakes
Pancakes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/3 c. nonfat dry milk powder, 2 tbsp. plus 1 1/2 tsp. enriched flour, 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon, 1/8 tsp. salt and 1 tbsp. margarine, melted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Sift together dry milk, flour, cinnamon and salt.
Set aside. Combine margarine and egg yolks.
In a medium bowl, beat egg whites with sugar until stiff.
Lightly fold yolk mixture into whites, then gradually fold in sifted ingredients.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Heat nonstick skillet over medium heat.
Drop batter, 1 tablespoon at a time, into skillet.
Lightly spread with back of spoon to form pancakes.
Cook until underside is browned; turn pancakes.
Cook until underside is browned.
Turn pancakes and cook 1 minute longer.
Serve hot.
