Roast Pork Fried Rice
Roast Pork Fried Rice is an impressive dinner. Made with 3 c. cooked rice, 1/2 c. roast pork (or ham), 1/4 c. onion, 1/4 c. bean sprouts and 1 tbsp. vegetable oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Use leftover or cooked rice.
Dice roast pork and onion.
Wash bean sprouts and remove tails, if you have the patience.
Using a huge flame, heat pan and add oil and salt.
Scramble egg.
Next, add onion, bean sprouts and pork.
Add sherry and stock and cover for 45 seconds.
Add rice and break up clumps.
Cover for 45 seconds.
Uncover; stir thoroughly.
Next, add soy sauce and other dry ingredients.
Stir thoroughly.
Serve immediately.
You may add minced scallion for color.
If you do, add as you turn off flame and stir in.
