Rutabaga Casserole
Rutabaga Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 medium rutabagas, peeled and diced, 1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs, 1/4 c. cream, 1/2 tsp. nutmeg and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cook the rutabaga until soft (about 20 minutes) in salted water to cover; drain and mash.
Soak the bread crumbs in the cream and stir in the nutmeg, salt and beaten eggs; combine with the rutabaga.
Turn into a buttered 2 1/2-quart casserole, dot with butter and bake in a 350Β° oven for 1 hour or until lightly browned.
Serves 6 to 8.
