Set empty eggshell in egg cup or napkin ring.
Draw a face on the eggshell.
Place 3 damp cotton balls inside each eggshell. Sprinkle 1/8 teaspoon of alfalfa seeds over cotton balls inside eggshell and keep cotton damp.
In two or three days the seeds will begin to sprout.
Put in a sunny spot.
As the sprouts grow, your child can give the egg friend a "haircut."
Sprinkle the clippings on a salad or put in a sandwich.
Fun to make 1 for each family member.
