Set empty eggshell in egg cup or napkin ring.

Draw a face on the eggshell.

Place 3 damp cotton balls inside each eggshell. Sprinkle 1/8 teaspoon of alfalfa seeds over cotton balls inside eggshell and keep cotton damp.

In two or three days the seeds will begin to sprout.

As the sprouts grow, your child can give the egg friend a "haircut."
