Taco Mac Salad
Taco Mac Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 oz. (about 1 1/2 c.) skinner twirls, 1 lb. ground beef, 1 (1 1/2 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning, 1/2 c. chopped green pepper and 1/2 c. minced onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Cook macaroni as directed on package.
Drain; rinse with cold water and drain again.
Brown meat and drain fat.
Add taco seasoning and mix well.
In a large bowl, mix macaroni, green pepper, onion, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and seasonings. Chill.
Just before serving, stir in seasoned ground beef, French dressing and corn chips.
Toss lightly.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
