Vanilla Ice Cream
Vanilla Ice Cream is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 envelopes knox gelatin, 3/4 c. cold water, 3 c. milk, heat but don't boil, 3 c. sugar and 4 tbsp. white vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix gelatin and water. Add scalded milk. Mix well. Add sugar, vanilla and salt.
Add cream and milk. Freeze. Makes 6 quarts.
