Almond Tokay Pilaf
Almond Tokay Pilaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. instant onion, 1/4 c. water, 1/4 c. butter, 1 c. regular long grain rice and 2 c. chopped celery and tops, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Stir onion into water; let stand a few minutes.
Heat butter until bubbly; toss in rice, onion and celery.
Cook and stir 2 to 5 minutes until rice tuns pale wheat color.
Add broth; cover and simmer over low heat 25 minutes until all liquid is absorbed or use microwave.
Stir in herbs, salt, pepper, almonds and grapes. Mix lightly with fork.
