Applesauce Brownies
Applesauce Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted, 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted, 2 eggs, 1 c. sugar and 1 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Combine chocolate and butter or margarine; beat eggs until light and lemon colored.
Gradually add sugar and continue to beat.
Stir in chocolate mixture.
Beat for 1 minute.
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt and stir into chocolate mixture.
Stir in applesauce, nuts, raisins and vanilla.
Put in greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
Makes 2 dozen brownies.
