Applesauce Cake
Applesauce Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter (1 stick), 1 c. sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. cloves (i personally leave out the cloves) and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Preheat oven to 350Β°. Cream together butter and sugar; add the next 3 ingredients.
Add applesauce.
Dissolve soda in warm water, then add to mixture.
Sift flour and salt together, then mix with mixture.
Bake 45 minutes.
Allow cooling before removing from pan.
