Banana Frozen Salad
Banana Frozen Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, 2 tbsp. mayo, 1/2 c. drained crushed pineapple, 1/2 c. coarsely chopped nut meats and 1 c. whipping cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Mix well the cream cheese, salt, mayo and lemon juice.
Fold in the pineapple, cherries and nut meats.
Whip 1 cup whipping cream until thick and shiny, but not stiff.
Fold into cream cheese mixture.
Fold in the diced ripe bananas.
Turn into fancy mold; freeze until firm (about 2 hours).
Cut for serving. Garnish with crisp greens.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
