Barbecued Lima Beans
Barbecued Lima Beans is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. dried lima beans, 1 small onion, sliced, 2 tbsp. bacon fat, 2 tsp. worcestershire sauce and 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can tomato soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Soak beans several hours.
Add 1 teaspoon salt, water to cover and 1/2 the cubed bacon.
Cook until beans are tender; drain, reserving 1 1/2 cups liquid.
Brown onion and garlic in bacon fat. Add next 5 ingredients and bean liquid.
Simmer 15 minutes. Alternate beans and sauce in a casserole.
Cover with remaining bacon strips.
Bake at 400Β° for 30 minutes.
