Blonde Brownies(Nate Emery's Favorite)
Blonde Brownies(Nate Emery'S Favorite) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. margarine, 2 c. brown sugar, 2 eggs, slightly beaten, 2 tsp. vanilla and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Melt shortening in saucepan. Remove from heat and add sugar. Mix well and cool slightly before adding eggs and vanilla. Blend well and add flour mixture, a little at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add chips and nuts.
Stir in.
Spread batter in a greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
Bake in a 350Β° oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
Do not overbake.
Cool in pan and cut into bars.
Makes 24 bars.
