BLT Pie
Blt Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 slices bacon, fried crisp, crumbled and divided, 1/3 c. shredded monterey jack cheese, 1 c. chopped tomato, 2/3 c. chopped onion and 2 tbsp. chopped parsley, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Preheat oven and baking sheet to 350Β°.
In a small bowl, combine half the bacon, cheese, chopped tomatoes, onion and parsley.
Spoon into pie crust.
Beat egg with evaporated milk. Slowly pour over bacon mixture.
Arrange sliced tomato on top of pie.
Bake on preheated baking sheet for 35 minutes (30 minutes for regular crust) or until pie crust has browned or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Let stand for 15 minutes; top with shredded lettuce and remaining bacon.
Serve.
Makes 8 servings (6 for regular crust).
