Grease a 9 inch pie pan or 8 inch square pan.

Layer apples in pan.

Alternate cranberries with apples.

Combine chopped nuts, cinnamon, salt and 1/4 c. sugar and sprinkle over fruit.

In a bowl, mix brown sugar, white sugar, eggs, vanilla, butter and flour.

Pour mixture over apples and berries, spreading evenly to cover (mixture will run down through the fruit).

Bake in 325Β° oven for 45 minutes or until knife inserted into the center comes out clean.

Serves 4 to 8.
