Bran Muffins
Bran Muffins is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 c. flour, 5 tsp. soda, 1 tsp. salt, 1 c. shortening and 3 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Mix together the first 3 ingredients, then add shortening, sugar, eggs and buttermilk.
In another bowl, mix the 100% Bran and boiling water.
Fold in the All-Bran, then add to the mixture.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 400Β°.
Can add dry fruit, nuts, etc.
Mix at least one day ahead of use.
Batter keeps 4 weeks in sealed container.
