Bran Muffins
Bran Muffins is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. 100% bran buds, 1 c. boiling water, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 c. shortening and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Soak Bran Buds in boiling water.
Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs, one at a time, beating.
Combine flour, salt and soda. Add to first mixture alternately with buttermilk.
Add Bran Flakes and Bran Buds.
Raisins and nuts may be added to taste.
Pour into greased muffin tins.
Cook at 400Β° for 15 to 20 minutes.
Makes 2 quarts.
May be refrigerated.
