In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Beat in vanilla. Combine flour and cocoa; add to creamed mixture just until combined.
Stir in walnuts.
Spread into an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350Β° for 23-28 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
Cool on a wire rack.
