Buttermilk Brownies
Buttermilk Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, 1/3 c. cocoa (regular type, dry), 2 c. sifted all-purpose flour, 2 c. sugar and 1 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

In saucepan, combine butter, cocoa and 1 cup water.
Bring to boil; stir constantly.
Remove from heat.
In large bowl, sift together flour, sugar, soda and salt; stir in eggs, buttermilk and vanilla.
Add cocoa mixture; mix until blended.
Pour into greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch baking pan.
Bake at 375Β° for 20 minutes.
Immediately pour Frosting over brownies; spread evenly. Cool; cut into bars.
