Butterscotch Brownies
Butterscotch Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. oleo, 2 c. light brown sugar, 2 eggs, 1 1/2 c. sifted flour and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Melt oleo over low heat.
Remove from heat.
Add brown sugar and stir until well blended.
Stir in eggs.
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt and stir into the other mixture. Add flavoring and nuts.
Spread in a well-greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Bake until when touched lightly with only a slight imprint remains.
Cut into bars when still warm.
Bake at 350Β° for 20 to 25 minutes.
