Butterscotch Brownies
Butterscotch Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 2/3 c. sifted flour, 1 tsp. salt, 4 tsp. baking powder, 1 c. oleo and 4 c. light brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Sift together flour, salt and baking powder.
Melt butter in pan you can mix all in (may be melted in microwave).
Cool slightly.
Stir in brown sugar, unbeaten eggs, vanilla and nuts. Stir in dry ingredients.
Spread in a greased 11 1/2 x 17-inch pan (do not use smaller pan).
Bake for 30 minutes at 350Β°.
Cut at once.
Freezes very well.
