Cook butter and sugar over low heat until bubbly.
Cool and add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly.
Add vanilla and cream, then sifted dry ingredients and coconut.

Spread in shallow pan (greased) and bake at 350Β° for about 25 minutes.
While warm, cut in squares.
