Preheat oven to 350° (325° for glass dish).
In saucepan, melt morsels and butter; stir in crumbs and nuts. Press half of mixture firmly into bottom of greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Beat cheese until fluffy; beat condensed milk, vanilla and egg. Pour on top of pressed crumbs. Top with remaining crumb mixture.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool at room temperature. Chill before cutting. Refrigerate leftovers.
