Caramel Brownies
Caramel Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with german chocolate cake mix, 1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine, 1/3 c. evaporated milk, nuts (optional) and 1 bag caramels, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Mix all but caramels together; pour half of the mixture into a greased 13 x 9 pan and bake at 350Β° for 6 minutes.
Melt 50 caramels with the remaining small can of evaporated milk.
Spread over hot cake, then evenly pour the chocolate chips on top of caramel.
Top with the remaining cake mix and add nuts, if desired; bake another 15 to 18 minutes.
