Caramel Brownies
Caramel Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 14 oz. bag caramels, 2/3 c. evaporated milk, 1 box any chocolate cake mix, 3/4 c. melted butter and 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Combine caramels and 1/3 cup milk in double boiler over boiling water.
Cover and stir until melted.
Keep warm.
Mix cake mix, butter and remaining 1/3 cup milk at medium speed for 2 minutes.
Spread 1/2 of batter in 13 x 9-inch greased baking pan. Bake at 350° for 6 minutes.
Cool 2 minutes.
Spread warm caramel mixture carefully over baked layer.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over this.
Stir 1/2 cup nuts into remaining batter and drop by spoonfuls over chocolate chips.
Sprinkle remaining cup of nuts over top of this and bake at 350° for 18 minutes.
Cool and cut into bars.
