Chicken Chow Mein
Chicken Chow Mein is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. cooked, cut-up chicken, 2 tbsp. butter, 2 c. thinly sliced celery, 1/2 c. diced onion and 1 tsp. salt (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Brown chicken lightly in butter; add celery, onion, salt, chicken broth and pepper.
Cook, covered, about 15 minutes or until celery and onion are tender.
Add Chinese vegetables and mushrooms.
Heat to a boiling point and add cornstarch mixed with soy sauce.
Simmer for 2 minutes.
Serve with chop suey noodles.
