Chicken Jambalaya
Chicken Jambalaya is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 large onions, chopped, 3 tsp. garlic powder, 3 tbsp. tony chachere seasoning, 2 tbsp. louisiana red hot and 6 c. raw long grain rice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Fry chicken in oil until brown.
Remove from pot.
Add onions and garlic to fry until brown.
Return chicken to pot.
Add water, salt, red hot and seasoning; simmer until hens are tender.
Add rice; cook rapidly for 5 minutes.
Lower fire, cover and cook for 20 minutes without lifting lid.
Cook until done.
Serves 14.
