Chicken Taco Casserole
Chicken Taco Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 chicken breasts or 1 whole chicken, 1 can cream of chicken soup (undiluted), 1 can cream of mushroom soup (undiluted), 1 c. milk and 1 can enchilada sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Chicken cut into bite-size pieces.
Combine soups, milk and enchilada sauce together.
Cover the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch amount of the soup mixture. Layer 1/3 of the tortilla pieces over the sauce.
Spread half of the cooked chicken over the tortilla pieces.
Pour half of the sauce mixture over chicken.
Layer with 1/3 of the tortilla pieces and remaining chicken.
Pour remaining sauce over the chicken and layer remaining tortilla pieces. Cover and refrigerate overnight. about 1 hour.
Top with cheese during last 5 minutes of baking.
Serve with sour cream as a condiment.
