Chicken Tamale Pie

Made with 1 pkg. cornbread mix (8 oz.), 1 chicken, cooked, boned and chopped, 1/2 c. cheddar cheese, shredded, 1 can cream of chicken soup and 1/2 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Add 1/2 cup cheese to cornbread mix and prepare as directed. Preheat oven to 375°.
Mix chicken, soup, seasoning, pimiento and water in saucepan and heat until warm.
Spoon cornbread mixture into greased 2-quart casserole.
Spoon chicken mixture over cornbread to within 1/2-inch of edges.
Bake at 375° for about 35 minutes.
Top with cheese while hot.
