Chili Con Carne
Chili Con Carne is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. onions, chopped, 2 tbsp. oil, 1 lb. ground beef, 2 (28 oz.) cans whole tomatoes and 2 (19 oz.) cans red kidney beans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Saute onions in oil until tender.
Add ground beef and brown. Add seasonings, tomatoes and kidney beans.
Add beer and stir.
Simmer slowly, covered, for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until thick.
Remove lid and simmer, uncovered, if necessary.
Serve with rice, grated cheese and sour cream.
