Christmas Cookies
Christmas Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 c. shortening, 2 eggs, 1 c. milk and 2 tsp. vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream sugar, shortening, eggs until fluffy. In another bowl, add nutmeg, salt, flour; stir baking soda and vinegar into milk. Then add to dry ingredients with creamed mixture, stirring briskly until well mixed, add vanilla. Drop by teaspoonful on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375Β°
For 10 minutes. Sprinkle top with red or green colored sugar to decorate.
