Christmas Cookies is an easy dinner. Made with 2 1/4 c. self-rising flour, 1/2 c. shortening (margarine or crisco), 1 c. sugar, 2 eggs, beaten and 1/2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cream the shortening and sugar together.
Add eggs.
Stir in flour; mix well.
Refrigerate overnight or at least 3 to 4 hours. Roll into 1/4-inch thickness.
Cut out cookies.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheets for 7 to 8 minutes at 350Β°.
Let cool.
Frost and decorate with sprinkles or whatever.
