Christmas Holly-Leaf Cookies
Christmas Holly-Leaf Cookies is an easy dinner. Made with 52 large marshmallows, 2 sticks (1/2 lb.) butter or margarine, 6 c. cornflakes, green food coloring and cinnamon red hot candies (for trim), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Melt marshmallows in butter.
Add about 6 to 7 drops of green food coloring.
Pour over cornflakes.
Mix thoroughly.
Form 1 teaspoon in a leaf shape on butter-greased wax paper.
Dot with 3 red candies.
(Bowl may be kept over a pan of hot water.)
Cool on wax paper and keep in a cool place about 2 days.
