Cream sugar and butter.
Add eggs and beat.
Add salt, cocoa and vanilla.
Add flour; beat until smooth and then fold in nuts. Bake in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan for 30 minutes at 325Β°.
While warm, spread with powdered sugar or these may be frosted when cool.
