Cornish Hens Steamed In Foil is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 cornish hens, thawed, 1 square of foil, 16 inches or larger, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/8 tsp. pepper and 1/4 tsp. sage, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Preheat oven to 350°.
Season each hen with salt, pepper, sage and parsley.
Wrap each hen in foil.
Place hens on baking sheet or in baking pan.
Cook in oven for 1 hour at 350°.
Remove hens from oven and raise heat to 425°.
Open foil to expose hens.
(Be careful of steam.)
Brush each hen with 2 teaspoons margarine. Return uncovered hens to oven for 5 to 10 minutes, until browned.
