Dad's "Brownie" Cookies
Dad'S "Brownie" Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. crisco, 1 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1 tbsp. water, 1 tsp. vanilla and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Blend Crisco and brown sugar.
Add water, vanilla and eggs. Blend cocoa and flour together and add to mixture.
Add chocolate chips and nuts.
Spoon mixture onto greased cookie sheet (a 1/2 ounce scoop of mixture makes a good size cookie).
Bake at 350Β° for 8 to 10 minutes.
Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
