Empanadas
Empanadas is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 large biscuits (grands), 1/2 lb. hamburger, 1/2 c. tomato sauce, 1/2 c. whole kernel corn, drained and 1 c. cheddar cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Flatten and roll biscuits out real thin.
Cook hamburger with garlic, salt, pepper and onions to taste.
Mix tomato sauce, corn, cheese and sugar and add cooked hamburger.
Place large spoon of this mixture in center of biscuit.
Fold over (like fried pie) and mash edges with fork.
Put on cookie sheet and bake at 375Β° for 15 minutes.
