Fabulous Fried Onion Rings
Fabulous Fried Onion Rings is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in just 54 minutes. Made with c. flour, c. beer (not light) and large yellow onions, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Combine flour and beer thoroughly with whisk in large bowl. Cover bowl and let set at room temperature for at least 3 hours. Cut onions into slices and separate into rings.
Stir into batter, then fry in oil at 375°.
(An electric skillet works best.)
Turn once or twice until golden, then transfer them to a preheated 200° oven, layering on brown paper bags or paper towels on cookie sheet.
