Vinegar, water, sugar and in saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Cool and add mustard seed. Pour over chopped vegetables been mixed together in a bowl. Stir and cover and let stand in refrigerator for 1 day before freezing or leave in refrigerator.
This keeps almost indefinitely.
