Freezer Slaw
Freezer Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 head cabbage, shredded, 1 tbsp. salt, 1 c. cider vinegar, 2 c. sugar and 1/4 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix cabbage and salt together; let stand 1 hour.
Squeeze out by hand and set aside.
Boil together the vinegar, sugar, water, celery seed and mustard seed for 1 minute.
Add onion and carrot to cabbage mixture.
Pour boiled mixture over and freeze in containers.
