French Muffin Donuts
French Muffin Donuts is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. flour, 1 c. sugar, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1/4 tsp. salt and 1/3 c. melted butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Sift flour with 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Combine milk, egg, melted butter and vanilla.
Add liquid ingredients to flour mixture, stirring only until all ingredients are moistened.
Fill greased muffin pans 1/2 full.
Bake at 400Β° for 20 minutes.
Remove from pan immediately.
Brush with melted butter and roll in mixture of remaining 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon.
Makes 12 muffins.
