Fudge Topped Brownies
Fudge Topped Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. margarine or butter, melted, 2 c. sugar, 1 c. unsifted flour, 2/3 c. hershey's cocoa and 1/2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
In large mixing bowl, combine margarine, sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, eggs, milk and 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla; beat well.
Stir in nuts if desired.
Spread in greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
Bake 40 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of the pan.
Just before brownies are done, in heavy saucepan over low heat, melt chips with sweetened condensed milk and remaining 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla.
Remove from heat.
Immediately spread over hot brownies.
Chill. Cut into bars.
Store covered at room temperature.
