Gallon Vanilla Ice Cream
Gallon Vanilla Ice Cream is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 eggs, pinch of salt, 2 1/2 c. sugar, 2 tsp. vanilla flavoring and 2 qt. sweet milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Beat eggs.
Add pinch of salt, sugar, vanilla and carton of cream.
Put dasher in the ice cream can.
Pour ingredients into can.
Fill the container 2 inches from the top.
Put container in hot water in a deep well to get warm.
When the mixture is warm, add rennet tablets. Turn dashers 1 time.
Let set in warm water 10 minutes, then pour in your ice cream tub. Put ice and ice cream salt in the tub.
Turn until frozen.
