German Slaw
German Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large cabbage, 1 large onion, 3/4 c. sugar, 1 tsp. dry mustard and 1 tsp. celery seed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Grate cabbage and onion.
Add 3/4 cup sugar.
Cover.
Set aside.
Bring to boil, 2 minutes, mustard, celery seed, oil, vinegar, 1 teaspoon sugar and salt; pour over cabbage mixture. Let set 12 or more hours; refrigerate.
Makes 1 to 1 1/2 quarts.
